Some B vitamins, niacin, in particular, can cause liver damage in high doses. Your friend needs to make a good product and the standardized milk thistle Thymuplex (Enzymatic Therapy),. Ask Dr. Whitaker's Guide to Natural Healing for more information and details.
Good luck!

In the long term, very large doses of niacin as harmful to the liver. Time-release niacin appears to be more of a risk of "regular niacin. The other form of niacin and vitamin B3/niacin is not considered a danger to the liver.

A single dose of 50 mg of niacin (do not let the time) is probably good for their friend. May it is advisable to take more than one capsule per day.

I hope this will be useful for you. Best wishes.
