I do not think you can, but you can have a defamation case, depending on who has the blame belongs.

The truth is that, although, strictly speaking, the reason for the death of his dog, but apparently not violate the intent.

Make sure evidence of pest infestation, and always use the original packaging of pitfalls, especially if the application of the Child Guard made. "Testing children" will never be confused with "experimental."

Moreover, the demonstration that broke out in the dog "- can it useful if they want to successfully defend an action brought against you and can help fight the claims.

It would be much easier if dog owners only control their animals better, right?

You probably can, but why? I had a cat die from eating rat poison before and is one of the most brutal I have seen literally bled to death from every orifice and screaming in pain.
It's not his fault if he is allowed to poison to put down, but the only law to tell the neighbors and explain that he should not be allowed to walk your dog in the yard On the one hand it must learn from his mistake. There's nothing I can do it legally it ride out. They are angry and upset, and probably the most annoying in itself because he knows he must be careful that your dog was.

Defamation cases can be won (is that a word?) If the person says is a lie. If you know the dog is in rat poison, no.
I'm not saying it was his fault that the dog died when her home that would have been not happen. When it comes to the question must be bothering everything he says and does, and document the police about the harassment call. If you just sue rich in search of someone, you should ask a lawyer.

Offers these traps were in her garden, the fault lies only in the inability of the owners of dogs in your garden with the dog can not escape safely guaranteed.

The only possibility of error in this situation is that if you set the traps in the property line or within reach of the garden next door neighbors, without crossing the border to sell, then you should fear "being sued for veterinary expenses, and if the allegations against him because of "intentionally" dog impair the function of the available evidence, despite its original purpose.

No

Libel is when someone says something about you, or you are a business owner, this is not true. Defame, you must prove that not only the statements are false, but it has caused damage, usually a financial loss.

Heres the part thats bad. Although this happened in your property, the dog was not invited, could still sue for the loss of your boxes of dog poisoning in the garden. If you are really warning signs around your garden alerted the neighbors and passers-by put poison in your garden, you are responsible for accidents they cause, including the deaths of dogs and neighbors.

Is not there a fucking world we live in?

What was the neighbor's dog on his property, apparently without supervision? I would not be pursued, but I will say is that dogs in the yard of the owner or leash and under control of the owner, so the neighbor is fully responsible for the death of his dog.

I doubt it - you can indirectly on his dog, who killed the truth, not defamation.
Is there a law of the belt in your area? Your neighbor may be partly to blame, if he / she had the dog under control.
When the dog died by poison, it is also possible that he could have eaten a poisoned rat and then swallowed.
